This book was about how global warming is affecting the coral reefs. The oceans are getting warmer! It may be good for us but not for the coral reefs that surround us the warmness of the oceans is turning some coral white it is also known as coral bleaching which is killing them but the good thing is that some types of coral can survive the coral bleaching.There is also a major decrease in the size of coral colonies in the last fifty years , there is a team of people that are taking pictures of the coral colonies to see exactly how much the decrease has been.

Great effort Ellie, you have taught us about coral reefs. Maybe next time try to use some punctuation to break up your sentences or you end up with run on sentences, that go on and on and on and on and on. I had to write about his as well, which was fun. How you ever been to a coral reef Ellie?
